Just saw the trailer for this book: Infinite Reality, a book by  Jim Blascovich and Jeremy Bailenson.

What caught my attention (no, not the annoying background music 😉 ) was the mention that people daydream 2000 times a day, and how the brain treats a fake avatar as real, and how the mind operates inside of virtual reality.

Sidenote: I do recall that someone said (do not remember who right now) that we also spend about 90% of our day thinking about past events (ie. repeating situations that already passed – as I understood)

Looks like a book to get, as if we don’t already have enough learning to do (3d animation software, animation techniques, etc).
