Michael Bay said “3D – Another fun tool to help get emotion, character and create an experience…” which reminds me of a talk I saw of John Lasseter also talking about something similar.. in Pixar films they (I hope I remember correctly) use 3D as another character per se.. to help tell / advance the story.
